Johnny Gates is a Rhode Island born singer and songwriter known for his distinctive raspy voice and high energy performances. He first broke out as the lead vocalist of Runaway Saints, touring internationally and opening for major artists including Rod Stewart. After the band’s run, Johnny stepped into the national spotlight on Season 12 of NBC’s The Voice as a member of Gwen Stefani’s team, earning praise for his emotional style and stage presence. Now based between Nashville and Los Angeles, he continues to write, record and perform as a solo artist. As a mentor and judge for The Search, Johnny brings years of industry experience and a passion for supporting emerging talent.
