Chachi Carvalho is a Rhode Island born artist, educator and community leader with roots in Cabo Verde and a long history of uplifting local talent. He is the founder of Beatbox Studio, a mentor with AS220 Youth and a performer known for work with the International Players and appearances at festivals from PVD Fest to the Kennedy Center and the Atlantic Music Expo. Recognized by Vibe Magazine and BET’s 106 & Park, Chachi blends music, culture and education to support emerging artists. As a mentor and judge for The Search, he brings creative insight and a strong commitment to community and youth development.
