Ben Shaw

Ben Shaw is a Rhode Island-based singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose performances blend heartfelt storytelling with poetic detail and musical sophistication.

He became involved in The Search after learning that The Parlour was hosting the final call and wanted to support the venue and local creative community. Ben has performed at festivals and clubs throughout the Northeast, including Club Passim, and has released multiple albums spanning folk, jazz, and contemporary classical music.

His work includes composing a ballet for Newport Contemporary Ballet and leading an all-ages jazz jam at The Parlour. Ben brings a seasoned artistic voice and deep community engagement to this season’s cast.
