Band
Free Beer The Band is a Rhode Island–based alternative group combining funk, hip hop, and modern rock into a high-energy, genre-blending sound. Formed in 2022, the band has performed more than 50 shows across New England, winning the RIC Rock Hunt Battle of the Bands and building a dedicated regional following.
They auditioned for The Search after seeing the announcement and wanting to support local creativity.
Known for their dynamic live sets and tradition of giving out “free beer” at select shows, they’ve appeared at major events including the Warren Folks Festival, Oktoberfest, and Providence PorchFest. Their original music—including fan favorites “Puppy Love” and “Back To You”—has been featured in Motif Magazine and on local radio.
