At just nine years old, Joel Carter is emerging as one of New England’s youngest and most dynamic hip-hop performers. His confidence and talent first caught attention at the National Black Doll Museum in 2024, sparking a journey that has led him to write original music with his family and perform across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Joel’s mother discovered The Search online, and the family jumped at the opportunity to continue his growth and connect with new audiences. He has already appeared at major festivals including Bamfest, Nice Festival, and multiple Juneteenth events, all while balancing school and studio time. With influences like Kendrick Lamar and Young Dylan, Joel brings charisma, creativity, and star potential to every stage.
